Kuroshi Honjin is a picturesque inn known for its stunning panoramic views of the Pacific. Called one of "Kochi's 10 most famous scenic views," you can also take in glimpses of Futanajima Island, famous for the Legend of Onigashima.
Located atop a hill overlooking Kure Bay and the town of Nakatosa-cho, known for its "Ipponzuri" (pole-and-line bonito fishing) in Shikoku's Kochi Prefecture, learn more about Kuroshio Honjin and its facilities.

Kuroshio Honjin's Main Building consists of a total of 11 rooms; 8 Japanese-style rooms, 2 Western-style rooms, and one Japanese/Western-style mixed room. All rooms come with an ocean view.

Baths
Kuroshio Honjin has both hot spring and seawater baths. Take in a view of the Pacific from our open-air seawater bath, or relax in heated natural spring water in 2 types of baths; a white-granite bath and a rust-stone bath; in the communal bath hall.

Dining
At Kuroshio Honjin, take in views of the Pacific while dining in our restaurant, Chaya Honjin: Kai. Our restaurant is perfect for small or large parties and can cater up to 70 people in our large banquet hall.

Kuroshio Kobo
Located in front of the Main Building, at Kuroshio Kobo, you can experience cooking Katsuo-no-Tataki (straw-seared bonito) or have a taste of the dried fish provided by local fishermen.

For regular guests
10:30AM - 4:00PM and 6:30PM - 8:00PM
Adults: 600 yen, Children: 300 yen
The Communal Bath is closed every Thursday from 10:30AM - 4:00PM and can only be used from 6:30PM - 8:00PM (EXCLUDING the 2nd Thursday of the month).
